Students are required to read the numbers on the cards. They then can use materials (such as base ten blocks, unifix cubes or multi-link cubes) to build the numbers.
They can then compare the numbers, and decide if they are greater than, less than, or equal to each other. Students can use this information to write an equation or number sentence on the attached sheet. 

This resource is differentiated for different abilities.
The first set contains numbers to 20. Set two is numbers to 50. Set three contains numbers to 100.
 
This resource can be used as a game, or as a follow up activity.
